Muses: Jung Yunho, Kim Kibum, and any of the other Gryffs. :]
Rating/Warning: None.
Location: Gryffindor House.
Style: LJ / Paragraph
Status: Complete
Summary: Kibum and Yunho go on a wild pixie chase.

Daylight, was just a smudge in the sky that morning. Yunho sat at the foot of his bed, fully dressed and with his broomstick lying snug on the bed (Dragon rider 800; latest from the Dragon rider series. Had speed, precision, and control). Yunho had to work last year's summer to get it, and even then his parents had to pay the difference with a promise he would pay them back. It was one of his most prized possessions.

On normal mornings, he would already be out the door and in the pitch to practice. Most of the time it took his mind off of thoughts he didn't want to think about, other times he just wanted to fly, the routine of it all being one of the more constants in the spoiling drama that came with a school filled with teen witches and wizards.

Today didn't seem to be a normal morning, and seeing as no one was awake (as usual) in his room, he figured he would find Kibum to bother him. After he made up his mind, he took his broomstick, and made his way to room 002, and knocked a few times before he opened the door and peaked into the room precariously. "Kibum." He tried to find the difference between a whisper and something loud enough for Kibum to hear.

Aiba wandered by the door once more to peek out then finally stopped and leaned against a wall to wait. He and Donghae were already in the Great Hall, the meeting place they had decided on for their game of Capture the Flag, and he was impatiently waiting for the rest of the members of their teams to arrive so they could get things started.

They had the flags, the location for the game, and the rules. The only thing left was the remaining players.

From time to time there will be events ranging between passive and active events. Passive events mean we post small changes around the school you need to keep note of when RPing, like the decor of the Great Hall, or the barring of the lake from students. These can range from important to random. Active events are when we host group RPs.

Hogwarts Express Departure
Type: Active
Duration: Monday, June 23 ( after that, it becomes backlog, and you're welcome to finish )
Accesses: Only this LJ post.
Note: Any who didn't sign up to stay at Hogwarts will be leaving for the train in this post. All decisions are final at this point. Rooming list for the summer schedule is now up. ( Also, students can send owls to each other to stay in contact, just post the subject line as "Owl to:" to clarify who it's being sent to in student journal posts. )

Monday morning dawned a bright and cloudless day to mark the beginning the summer holidays. The magical carriages lined up along the side entrance of the school, open to the shining summer sunlight and the gentle breeze that wound through the mountains and across the lake.

Some students stayed for summer, and the rest trundled up and down the stairs with their trunks and bags, loading them onto the carriages to leave for the train even while saying their first goodbyes to the castle. One or two upper years followed on their brooms before turning back or splitting to fly their own ways home. Even the giant squid occasionally waved its massive arms at the passing carriages. Others walked the shaded and tree-lined path to Hogsmeade, perhaps to see their friends off at the train station - to spend the last moments of the school year together.

At the train station in Hogsmeade, students found themselves looking for friends amongst the compartments and stow their trunks away for the long trip. The engine steamed quietly amongst the hustle and bustle of bodies and the calling of a second set of goodbyes, waiting for its departure at 10'o'clock. This is its own way of saying goodbye, but it knows that next year will come and it will see the vibrant smiles of students once again ...

Summer Holidays Part 1
Type: Semi-Passive (meaning it's a very big passive event, further explanation in the note)
Duration: Monday, June 16 - Thursday, July 31.
Accesses: Journal entries, AIM RPs, LJ RPs.
Note: The school is now on summer holiday mode. From Monday, June 16th to Friday, June 20th, all students are expected to begin packing to go home. No classes will resume. There will be a separate, active event on the final day for everyone to say their goodbyes at the Hogwarts Express, so keep watch on that. During this time, if your muse wants to stay at Hogwarts for the summer, please reply to this post with [muse name/LJ/house/year(going into)]. From this point forward, please refer to your muse's year as the one they're going into.

All rooming arrangements will be cleared to represent the holiday schedule by Friday. All new transfers will still receive room assignments, but it will only hold true for the remainder of the week. By the next school year, every student will receive new room assignments.

edit: For the summer holidays, all student journals have been re-enchanted to continue the network between other student journals. But they also do not work within 6 metres of a muggle, and will render the journal normal, if the space is breached. This is a safety measure, and cannot be changed. Please remember under-aged wizards and witches cannot perform magic in the vicinity of muggles, which could result in an expulsion. Also try and not create unexplainable worm holes while travelling through the many forms of magical transportations, and keep them logical/reasonable.

You may have noticed there's two parts to this summer holiday. The second part starts in August. All plans for it are currently tentative, and we'll keep tabs for you.

The new drama club at Hogwarts is made up of several students, and we're an amateur drama group wanting to spend time studying acting, scripting, singing, dancing and transferring our magic knowledge to create shows for everyone.

Also, we take in people who wants to join because I'm that nice. :) You may reply to this post or catch me on AIM as gakki yui, a'right? :) ♥
